Another one of my best friends was married a while back, and I was lucky enough to be a part of her special day and do her save the dates and wedding invitations! Another one of our friends from High School, Sarah Geiger was the wedding photographer. Sarah captured the day perfectly, and was featured on Style Me Pretty. Brooklyn is a special place for Vivia and Will, so they decided to get married at The Liberty Warehouse. I thought it would be a cute idea for their Save the Date to feature the Brooklyn Bridge. It turned out great! We toned down the colors and printed it on a more grey scale, rather than black and white which would have been too harsh.

Above shows the Rehearsal Dinner invitation, Reception Card, Save the Date and RSVP card (clockwise starting at top left). The Rehearsal was at Frankies 457, so we found an invitation that captured the feel of the restaurant. The Reception and RSVP card were letterpress in navy ink from my calligrapher.
All in all, it was an amazing wedding … Sarah did such an amazing job with her photography and I had the best time with Vivia creating her Save the Dates and Invitations!!

Flowers by Green of Greenwich
As soon as one of my best friends told me she was pregnant, there were a million “ohhhhs, ahhhhs, and yeaaahhhhhs” … and then several minutes later, I told her I wanted to throw her baby shower! I had such a fun time planning all the small details and making it a special, memorable day for her.
Below are images from the day with tags of all the vendors that I used to create the perfect baby shower!
Anyone that knows me, knows that I am obsessed with handwriting, calligraphy, fonts, etc … Anything that is different and unique. Jessie from Mr. Boddingtons always sends little notes in the packages that she mails to me, and I have always been a huge fan of her handwriting. It’s unique and fun! Instead of using my calligrapher, I thought it would be fun to ask Jessie to address the place cards. Of course we had to use Mr. Boddingtons place cards for the event!! Every guest had a different motif at the top of their card! You can also see in the background the cookies that I had made for the shower. I used Annie from Annie’s custom cookies to create animal shapes. Each was tied in a cellophane bag with a matching colored ribbon.
Again, no detail went unnoticed! Notice that with each drink there was a stripe straw in it! And since we didn’t know whether it was going to be a girl or a boy, we made sure each drink has a raspberry (pink … girl) and a blueberry (blue … boy)!
I don’t have a good picture of the invitation, however, will post as soon as I have one … but I made sure that the napkins matched it perfectly! Such a fun little touch that made the shower that much more personal!
I will try to add more pictures as they come streaming in … but a big thank you to Adare Kiely for taking these and being the photographer of the day! Also a big thank you to Greens of Greenwich for making the flowers for the table absolutely exquisite!!

Red Chevron Wrapping Paper
Not only is it really fun to give the person you love/like a gift, but wrapping it up and having it look amazing is part of the fun as well! Yes, it’s adorable when something is wrapped in newspaper and has duck tape to hold it all together, but if you want to step it up, here is how to make your present look absolutely amazing …
Above is a picture of wrapping paper by Mr. Boddington. I wrapped a lot of christmas gifts in this paper, but it can definitely be carried out to Valentines Day. Putting a light pink grosgrain ribbon on it would make the gift cute for a kid, but if its for your husband, or boyfriend, go for a red, satin ribbon!
Red Letterpress Gift Tags
I also love these little hang tags from Mr. Boddingtons. They are tied on with jute, but you can also use a thin, satin ribbon, or wrapphia … Again, you can mix up the color of the ribbon you use … Hot pink, red, white, light pink, etc …
To purchase these items, please be in touch with me and I will get them to you asap!

Valentines Day is one of my favorite Holidays!
I’ve always loved it …
I can’t remember if I used to make my own valentines, or just buy them at the store … I will have to ask my mom … but these days companies are creating the cutest items for Valentines Day! I have to admit that I already have the cards that I’m sending out this year and it’s only the beginning of January!
For kids, it’s a fun time for them to give cards all their classmates, teachers, babysitters, etc. Boatman Geller always does a really cute job with stickers (shown above) as well as cards and now even Plates!
How fun to bring cookies to school on a Valentines Day Plate!
