Watch Hill Wedding

Style Me Pretty

I was so excited to be featured on Style Me Pretty again last year!  It is such an honor!!  I was just talking with Tobey (whose wedding is featured below) and they just celebrated their two anniversary!  I am SO far behind on posts!  Better late than never, right?

I worked with Tobey (who I became quick friends with throughout this process) and her now husband Christian as they planned for their wedding at The Ocean House in Watch Hill, Rhode Island.  As a place that also holds a special place in my heart, as it does to Tobey and Christian, I wanted these invitations to set a tone for just how amazing the weekend would be.

We worked together to come up with a beautiful, custom designed letterpressed Save the Date.  Jill Velez, from Copper Willow Paper Studios, put all of our ideas into reality.

Since the wedding would be at The Ocean House in Watch Hill, Tobey and Christian wanted a nautiful theme.  Christian wanted a specific anchor and came up with an amazing image.  We had Jill create a rope like border and used a coral and navy color story.

Mr. Boddingtons created the invitation, inserts, and the map for the actual invitation.   We used the same anchor on the invitation, outer envelope and Program as we did on the Save the Date.  A thick navy and white envelope liner looked amazing with all the goodies that were inside!  I’m sure all guests loved every part of the package.

I think that my favorite part of the package was the Map that was created by Mr. Boddingtons.  Tobey and Christian picked out their favorite places in Watch Hill for their guests to visit.  This was also a smart and fun way to let the guests know the Hotel Accomodations.  It folded up into a little pamplet and was a booklet.  So cute!  I love that we were able to use the anchor, a cute little lobster icon and ice cream cone for the marker of where places were.

It was such a fun wedding to work on, and everything turned out so incredibly well!  I hope that Tobey, Christian and all of their guests loved all of the paper goods as much as I did.  They turned out so well and I couldn’t have been happier!!
